I have six hours each week set aside on my schedule for office hours, and I’m not exaggerating even a little bit when I say that meeting with smart students during office hours is my favorite part of being a professor. I hope you will take advantage of this time to ask me questions about your work, tackle frustrating technology problems, or review drafts of your writing. This semester, I’m holding office hours on Tuesdays from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to noon in my office (427 Shanks Hall). If you would like to set up a specific time to meet with me during those times, you are welcome to do so, but you don’t need an appointment to attend office hours. If your schedule is completely full during my official office hours, let me know and we’ll find another time to meet.
If you have a quick question that doesn’t require an office visit, feel free to email hidden; JavaScript is required. I’m happy to answer questions via email (or even via Twitter), but before you send me a message (especially about a technology problem), please attempt to answer the question on your own.
